Personalized T-shirts using transfer paper/ Iron-on transfers for T-shirts

I bought some transfer paper last year that can be used on dark and light fabrics. This paper also works great on hats, mousepads, coasters, tote bags, aprons etc. I designed the images in photoshop, printed out then using heavy pressure, I adhered the paper transfer to the shirt with the iron. I created the first one (strawberry) last year and the other 2 this year. For the black shirt, I tried cutting the sleeves into narrow strips right up to the shoulder seam for some cuteness. I'm planning to try transferring images to bags too!

IL Pirata Restaurant Eastwood City, Libis

Here are some photos taken yesterday when we had lunch at IL Pirata Italian Restaurant located in Libis, Quezon City. I liked the total look of the restaurant. The interior design and decorations were awesome but nothing much to rave about the food. You can also dine in the pirate ship docked just beside the restaurant. I was not in the mood to eat yesterday so I just took lots of photos to share with you. We had Ice Cream for dessert then we strolled around the mall.

Baked Rigatoni Cake/ Rigatoni Pasta Pie

I saw this on Martha Stewart's website and had to try it. Though it was a bit time consuming to make ( pushing meat sauce into pasta holes ), I was happy with the outcome. I just used my favorite spaghetti meat sauce. You can check out the website for the recipe. This is great for a family get together and a wonderful alternative to lasagna. You can always adjust the ingredients according to your taste.


Directions:

Butter a 9-inch springform pan. Toss pasta with Parmesan cheese. Tightly pack pasta into pan, standing each piece on end.

Spread 2 cups of meat sauce on top of pasta, pushing it into holes. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle mozzarella on top and place back into the oven until the cheese has melted.

Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before unmolding and cutting into wedges.

I am by no means a professional photographer. I just love taking photos and enjoy it as a hobby. I started with a point and shoot camera, then upgraded to a DSLR camera. But my DSLR is already outdated and I want the latest model!!(One that I can afford!) I mostly rely on my camera's auto mode coz I still don't know how to shoot in manual mode. I'm very keen to learn different aspects of photography. My favorite subject is my niece Ykaie. She is the daughter of my sister Peachkins . She is 2 years old and can follow instructions but a bit hard to photograph unless you tell her made up scary stories while taking photos of her to get her attention. lol! She loves listening to scary stories! I took some photos of her while we were at Club Balai Isabel and I'd like to share them with you.
