Monster Cookies

If you like peanut butter, you will love this! I baked these the other week. These are flourless chunky peanutbuttery chocolatey cookies that kids would love.

Ingredients:
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tsps baking soda
4 1/2 cups oatmeal

Mixins
1/2 cup raisins
1/2cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup regular M&M's


Procedure
Cream eggs, butter, peanut butter, brown and white sugar. Beat in vanilla and baking soda. Add the oatmeal, raisins, chocolate chips and M&M's. Mix thoroughly.

Drop on cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Pool Party

My nieces had a blast today. We had a mini pool party. Since we don't have a real swimming pool, we used 2 inflatable pools. Here are some photos taken today.

Cousins and nieces

I prepared some chicken tacos, chorizo-cheese quesadillas and four seasons punch with diced apples. Sis prepared chips and dips. We had 3 dips; guacamole, salsa and beefy cheese. Yummy! We'll surely be doing this again!

This was the bag I carried the last time I left the house and went to Rizal Park for a photoshoot session; Ykaie's baby bag. lol! I didn't take my own purse with me because this bag was heavy enough for me to carry another one. I just put my wallet, hanky and cellphone in my pockets.
It is a Php600 bag bought by my sis Peach.



The contents of the bag:
Ykaie's clothes, ( other clothes are in the laundry) 2 cameras( canon point and shoot and canon rebel xti), diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, milk, baby powder,hand sanitizer, shoes, socks, a brush and comb, atomizer with water ( for Ykaie's hair) a box of hair clips and bows, headband, safety pins, a container of assorted cereals which Ykaie loves to munch on, Clover Chips and juicy fruit double mint gum.

Seafood aligue Pasta (Seafood Pasta in crab fat)

I cooked this the other week. This is really fattening but yummy indeed. Watch your cholesterol level! lol

Ingredients:

1 bottle aligue ( crab fat)
400 grams spaghetti noodles, cooked according to package direction
1tsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
6 cloves of garlic, minced
mussels, steamed and removed from shells
shrimps
1 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
chopped parsley for garnishing

Procedure:

Sautee garlic in olive oil and butter, do not brown
Add crab fat, mussels and shrimps.
Cook for 3-5 minutes
Season with salt and pepper
Add lemon juice
Toss in cooked noodles
If it looks dry, add more butter
Garnish with chopped parsley
Serve with garlic sticks

Outdoor Photoshoot

We went to Rizal Park today ( me, sis and Ykaie) for Ykaie's outdoor photoshoot. I wanted a grassy and flowery background but was disappointed. I thought the Orchidarium was a perfect place for the shoot. Inside the Orchidarium is a butterfly paradise, there's a mystic lagoon, waterfalls and a man made rainforest but sad to say it was closed today.I was only able to take a photo of her outside the place. But I didn't like the smell all over. I think people were peeing on the grass. I just took a shot and headed to check out the Chinese and Japanese garden but it looked like there was a drought so I was not able to take some solo shots of Ykaie.

Outside The Orchidarium

I brought a few clothes so Ykaie can change but she was only able to change 3 times. We headed to The Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. It was green ang grassy enough but no flowers.


I decided to take a few shots of her in her royal blue tutu that I made.



Rizal Park is so huge.We were not able to go around all over the place because we were already tired from walking. Ykaie wouldn't pose, sit down, stand up nor wan't to be left alone anymore. I had to catch some ants for her to follow my directions. She is fond of watching and playing with ants. lol But she did enjoy visiting the children's playground.

6. I used to eat bread buns with ketchup. It tasted like hamburger to me when I was a kid.
7. I love steaks! Sometimes I feel bad about eating meat. But I cannot be a vegetarian. Im such a carnivore.
8. Im not fond of wearing make ups. I look pale but I'm used to it.

A Perfect Blend of Friendship Award

I get to meet new friends through blogging. I never knew I would enjoy it this much. Though we don't see each other in person, it feels nice to just keep in touch. Who knows, maybe we'll be able to meet someday.

I've been blessed to have wonderful friends I have known since high school. We go out and bond once in a while. Though some of them live overseas, we still get to see each other when they visit Philippines. Same goes with my buddies from college, though busy with family life we keep in touch and go out if time permits.

I'm suppose to pass this to 10 people but some of the ones I know have already been awarded. I'll just pass this on to 6 blog friends. Personalized gift box

I bought this bracelet and cellphone charm for my friend who will celebrate her birthday on Sunday. She will treat me out and my other friends to a full body massage.Yay! I need a body massage so badly! lol



I decided to create a matching gift box. I got the template from alenkasprintables. I designed the gift box in photoshop, then had it printed by sis.


I cut out the moon and used a double sided tape for dimension.
